EAP–Employee Assistance Program

Dr. Ziv Cohen, medical director at Principium Psychiatry, has extensive experience in organizational psychiatry, having served as an emergency room psychiatrist, college psychiatrist, military psychiatrist, and an EAP psychiatrist at a major NYC corporation. Dr. Cohen is a board certified forensic psychiatrist. We have the below experience and capabilities:

• handling telephone calls from company staff seeking direction on a newly arisen mental health situation with an employee
• scheduling an urgent evaluation for an employee, to assess the employee’s needs and fitness for duty
• provide short or long term treatment to the employee in order to speed up return to duty
• make recommendations about whether an employee is permanently disabled
