Dr. Schoenfeld is a graduate of Columbia University and SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. His clinical work has focused on interventional psychiatry, helping bring innovative treatments to patients who have struggled to find an approach that works for them. In addition to his clinical training, Dr. Schoenfeld has authored peer-reviewed research in psychiatry and neuroscience and has presented his work at national scientific meetings.
Dr. Schoenfeld believes in taking the time to truly understand each person’s experiences, challenges, and goals. He treats patients as individuals, recognizing that no two people experience mental illness in exactly the same way. His experience caring for patients with complex conditions that have not responded to traditional treatments has reinforced his belief in looking beyond symptoms to find meaningful, lasting improvement.
