Cassidy Leverett is a Licensed Master Social Worker dedicated to helping clients of all ages—from adolescents to older adults—navigate a wide range of challenges, including mood and anxiety disorders, ADHD, trauma, relationship difficulties, parenting struggles, and grief and loss. Her therapeutic approach is warm, authentic, and deeply engaged, grounded in a belief that every client has the capacity for resilience and transformation.
Cassidy helps clients identify and understand the behavioral and relational patterns that may be keeping them stuck. With compassion and clarity, she supports individuals in uncovering the origins of these patterns and building the insight and tools necessary for meaningful change. Her work is guided by a philosophy of compassionate accountability—honoring clients’ lived experiences while gently challenging them to move toward growth and self-empowerment.
Cassidy is also a core member of the Principium Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy Team, where she supports patients in preparing for and integrating their ketamine treatments. She draws on insight-oriented, mindfulness-based, and internal family systems (IFS) approaches to help patients derive deep therapeutic value from their ketamine experiences, promoting clarity, emotional healing, and long-term psychological growth.
Her clinical work is informed by a range of evidence-based modalities, including psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD. Cassidy is also LGBTQIA+ affirming and brings specialized expertise in grief and loss counseling.
As part of Principium’s collaborative team of therapists, psychiatrists, and interventional providers, Cassidy is proud to contribute to an integrative, cutting-edge model of care that embraces both traditional psychotherapy and innovative treatments like psychedelic-assisted therapy. She is passionate about working in a space where science, empathy, and curiosity come together to create lasting change.
