Dr. Adami Gordon is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York, currently working for Principium Psychiatry and St. John’s University. Dr. Gordon earned his Psy.D. from Alliant International University and has practiced in a multitude of diverse settings. He is an eclectic therapist, utilizing psychodynamic, humanistic, and existential therapies along with tools from cognitive behavioral and experiential therapies. Dr. Gordon is also trained in EMDR for trauma related concerns, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention therapy for OCD, phobias, or general compulsions. He specializes helping clients from diverse cultural backgrounds working through issues of identity development and has considerable experience working with individuals of immigrant families.
